DHOOM centers dedicated policeman Jai Dixit (Abhishek Bachchan), who assumes swaggering gang leader Kabir (John Abraham), with the help of former inmate and Fateh comic role of Ali Akbar Khan (Uday Chopra). In a cartoon freely in some famous Hollywood movies – 48 HOURS, Point Break, and The Fast and The Furious – a series of daring robberies wit police evidence of what seems impossible to catch criminals highly mobile, mounted on souped-up motorcycles, easily escape persecution.
Tailor-made for special effects and dazzling double sequences, DHOOM Masala also offers the familiar mix of comedy, drama, romance (Rimi Sen and Esha Deol to handle the female roles), and music in support of its fireworks overheated. The action in Dhoom (BLAST in English) has no respite from start to finish. Worth mentioning is the tremendous success of the songs, which won numerous awards as well as the enthusiastic support of music lovers.
